Definitions

Events

Events are... events (ex: "Mission Possible C"). Each event must have a unique name. Once an event has been added, the event name can be edited by double-clicking on the event name in the configuration table below.

Divisions

In terms of events, the divisions ("A", "B", "C") determine which teams are allowed to sign up for that event. If "B" is checked for an event, then Division B teams can sign up for that event. If "C" is checked, then Division C teams can sign up for that event. If both "B" and "C" are checked, then both Division B and C teams can sign up for that event (which means that the capacities for that event should support the total number of B and C teams combined.)

Timeblocks

Timeblocks are the periods of time (ex: "10:30 - 11:30") in which teams can compete in a given event. Timeblock names must also be unique within a division. Once a timeblock has been added, the timeblock name can be edited by double-clicking on the timeblock name in the configuration table below. Tip: Use leading zeros (ex. "08:30 - 09:30") and military time (ex. "13:10 - 14:10" instead of "01:10 - 02:10") so that timeblocks are properly sorted.

Capacities

These are the numbers listed in the table, and they specify the maximum number of teams allowed to be in that timeblock for that event.

Events

Requires that linked teams (teams that share the same email address) must sign up in the same timeblock. For more information, please see the help page.

This is the recommended way to configure all your events, timeblocks, and number of teams per timeblock. Simply download the example file and change it to fit your schedule.
WARNING: This will wipe all current events and timeblocks, and will also clear any current signups.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I disable a timeblock for an event?

The capacity is used to determine the maximum number of teams allowed within a timeblock for an event. If the capacity is set to 0, then no teams are allowed to sign up for that timeblock, and the timeblock is not shown as an option when the teams go to sign up for that event.
